  1. Hi, Claire! I followed you over here from Pinterest, after repinning several of your education pins (thanks, btw). I'm also a secondary English teacher, though without a classroom since the birth of my daughter in 2009, and I too struggle with ADHD. Hopefully, I'll be back to the classroom by next year, and, also hopefully, I'll be able to get a better grip on the ADHD by then. I read your posts today, and they were both informative and relateable; I'll be sure to keep visiting . . . and to keep pinning/curating!

Congratulations on the official debut of your blog -- good stuff!

  3. Connie-

I have to admit something...I cried a little reading your post and I am NOT a crier!! I think it was because when you struggle with something your whole life and try to explain what is happening to someone who doesn't really "get" it, it starts to feel defeating even if it isn't. But then, when someone you like you comments from that big wide world and makes that instant connection of "Yes, I get it, I've been there too" it suddenly makes that world feel a lot smaller.

Thank you so much for your comment. It gives me the courage and push I need to continue talking about ADHD from all angles: mother, teacher, wife, and someone who also has ADHD.

Have a wonderful day- you have certainly made mine feel so much brighter!!
